Hi Jim,
I recently ordered a headliner replacement kit and installed it
following the directions and using the materials you sent. I thought
you might like to hear how pleased I am with the overall experience.
The headliner kit exceeded all of my expectations in quality and fit,
ease of installation, and overall appearance. The materials were
extremely easy to work with and in both appearance and feel are superior
to the original. The glue was more than enough for my needs. I was
expecting glue that would require application with a brush, and was
pleasantly surprised to find it was in a spray can.
The directions fo the installation were easy to understand and follow.
The installation ended up being quite simple, and took less than two
hours (including a few distractions!) from start to finish. Following
the directions, I felt confident at every step of the process, which is
saying a lot for someone like myself who is usually hesitant to make
changes to a car that involve disassembling and reassembling things like
trim and molding. The fact is, I expect it not to fit properly when I
try to put it back together. This time, however, it worked out
perfectly. The end result is that my kids no longer refer to it as the
"Uncle Buck car". If you've seen the movie, you'll know what I mean.
After finishing the installation, I felt so confident of my ability to
install the headliner kit in my car (1989 Chevy Celebrity), that when I
found myself at a traffic light behind an identical car with a sagging
headliner a few days later, I was tempted to jump out and offer to
replace it for them (for a healthy profit, of course!).
For anyone who has a similar problem with an older car or truck, I will
not hesitate to refer them to your site and encourage them to do
business with you.
Keep up the good work and best of luck!
Andy Enright
